What is a permanent resident of Singapore?

Singapore has an open immigration law and welcomes anyone with professional skills and knowledge who has contributed to economic growth. Non-Singaporeans who want to apply for permanent residence in Singapore need to apply for an entry permit first. Applying for an entry permit means applying for permanent residency in Singapore.

□ A successful applicant must meet one of the following conditions before he can convert an approved Singapore permanent resident into a real Singapore permanent resident. The conditions of these immigrants will be indicated in the letter of approval in principle of the Singapore Immigration Registry.

First, the immigration conditions:

1, children are studying in Singapore;

2. The whole family immigrated to Singapore;

3. Have a fixed job in Singapore;

4. Buy real estate in Singapore;

The applicant must immigrate to Singapore within one year indicated in the approval letter.

Second, the application conditions for permanent residents

Applicants for Singapore administrative permanent residents must also meet the following conditions:

1, bachelor degree or above (with a master's degree or study visa from Commonwealth countries, the pass rate can reach over 99%);

2. Not more than 45 years old;

3. Not working in Singapore.

Third, the subordinate application conditions

□ Male applicants can apply for permanent residence in Singapore together with their wives and children under the age of 2/kloc-0. Female applicants can only apply for permanent residence in Singapore for children under 2 1 year old. Her husband must apply separately.

Examination and approval time
