Do I still need to go to the embassy to mail the Australian e-visa?
Australia has an electronic visa system. You don't need to stamp your passport to go to Australia, enter Australia or stay in Australia. When checking in in Australia, airline personnel will confirm that passengers have valid Australian visas and can go to Australia through the electronic system before boarding.
From 20 12 10 1, you don't need to go through the passport labeling procedure to go to Australia. With the consent of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Public Security, citizens of China and other countries who have been exempted from visas are allowed to leave the country under the following circumstances:
1. Passengers depart from Chinese mainland Airport and fly directly to Australia. At the same time, the passenger holds a registration card for the last flight to Australia or a valid Australian sticker visa; or
2. Passengers depart from Chinese mainland Airport, take a connecting flight to Australia, and have a reasonable transit permit (including a letter of approval and the next trip) to Australia; or
3. Australian visa holders can reach the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region through land or water ports, and take direct or transit flights from Hong Kong to Australia.
If you leave Chinese mainland Airport and need to transfer to Australia at Hongkong (or other international transfer stations), please be sure to bring your approval letter and the next trip.
In addition, People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China have also informed that visa-free Australian visa holders are not allowed to fly to Australia from Macau or Hong Kong after entering the Macao Special Administrative Region through land or water ports.
Australian visa holders are required to hold visa labels when passing through the Macao Special Administrative Region, and must provide travel confirmation records from Chinese mainland to Macao via land or waterway ports, as well as air ticket confirmation forms from Macao or Hong Kong to Australia.
