Rural villagers' residential construction land shall conform to the town planning and the overall land use planning. In principle, new rural villagers' houses should be concentrated in the construction of new village settlements, and basic farmland should not be occupied.

Rural villagers with rural hukou and no housing or crowded housing can apply for homestead.

A rural villager can only own one homestead.

Rural villagers' homestead standard: 30 square meters per person, 3 households with less than 3 people, 4 households with less than 4 people, and 5 households with more than 5 people. The newly occupied land area of the expanded house should be calculated together with the original homestead area. The standard of immigrant homestead shall be implemented according to the relevant documents of the district.

In any of the following circumstances, it is not allowed to apply for the construction of individual residence:

Housing land reaches the required standard;

Rural villagers whose registered permanent residence is not in the place where they apply for land;

Rural villagers sell, lease or give their original houses to others before applying for homestead.
