Will Yellow River Beach 2017 in Kaifeng, Henan be relocated in 2020?

The fate of millions of farmers in the Yellow River beach area can no longer be teased by the Yellow River. The only way to fundamentally change the living conditions and development environment of farmers in the beach area, ensure the realization of a well-off society in sync with the people of the whole province, and let farmers in the beach area control their own destiny is to move out of the Yellow River beach area.

Based on various factors, at present, our province has put forward a general plan for the relocation of residents in the Yellow River beach area, striving to gradually move out 820,000 people in the beach area threatened by floods in 7 to 10 years, and determine Fanxian, Changyuan and Lankao as pilot counties for relocation.

For a long time, the people in the beach area have suffered from the flood of the Yellow River and have a strong desire to get rid of poverty. The development of new agricultural business entities, the extensive development of land circulation, the transfer of labor force in beach areas and the change of production and lifestyle have provided strong endogenous motivation for poverty alleviation and relocation. In recent years, our province has successively carried out the relocation of Danjiangkou reservoir, the relocation of residents in Huaigantan area and the relocation of poverty alleviation in Shenshi mountain area, and accumulated a lot of practical experience, which provided a useful reference for the relocation of poverty alleviation in the Yellow River beach area. Generally speaking, the foundation of poverty alleviation and relocation in the Yellow River beach area of our province has been established and the conditions are becoming more and more mature. At present, our province has completed the overall plan for the relocation of residents in the Yellow River beach area of Henan Province. In the future, we will increase our support for poverty alleviation and relocation in the beach area, arrange certain special funds for the infrastructure construction of poverty alleviation and relocation in the Yellow River beach area, support the people in the beach area to get rid of poverty and improve the production and living environment. I believe that through a series of poverty alleviation measures, the future of the Yellow River beach area will be better!
