Where is the Xihaigu immigration area?

Guyuan City, Ningxia, is located near Liupanshan Mountain in the loess plateau in southern Ningxia, also known as Xihaigu. Since 1980s, Ningxia has successively implemented a series of relocation projects for poor people in Xihaigu area, with a total of 660,000 poor people relocated. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Ningxia will also use the power of the whole autonomous region to implement the ecological migration project in Central and South China, so that 350,000 poor people can bid farewell to Xihaigu and realize settlement, entrepreneurship and prosperity in different places.

Solving the production and living problems of 350,000 poor people in central and southern China is related to social harmony and stability in Ningxia, and whether Ningxia as a whole can achieve the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way as scheduled.
