4. Business passport, engaged in business activities;

Legal basis: Article 11 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

In any of the following circumstances, the passport holder may apply for a new or reissued passport in accordance with the regulations:

(1) The passport is about to expire;

(2) The passport visa page is about to run out;

(3) The passport is damaged and cannot be used;

(4) The passport is lost or stolen;

(5) Other circumstances in which a passport needs to be renewed.

Passport holders applying for renewal or replacement of ordinary passports shall submit their applications to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where their household registration is located; In foreign countries, I will submit it to the people of China, China's embassies and consulates abroad or other overseas institutions entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After returning to China, China citizens who have settled abroad apply for renewal or replacement of ordinary passports, which shall be submitted by themselves to the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ of the people's government at or above the county level in their temporary residence.

The renewal or replacement of diplomatic passports and official passports shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
