What are the ways to immigrate to Hong Kong?

At present, there are three main ways to immigrate to Hong Kong, namely "talents" and "professionals" who work, and another way is to come to Hong Kong through study.

1. immigrants studying abroad

Immigration for further study is to attend a full-time university in Hong Kong. There are three forms of associate degree, bachelor (undergraduate) and master's degree, and Hong Kong status is granted as a student. This is also the most convenient and relatively easy way to obtain Hong Kong identity. After studying abroad, you can apply for an ANG visa (arrangement for non-local graduates to stay/return to Hong Kong for employment). Holding an ANG visa, you can stay in Hong Kong according to the visa time, work in Hong Kong, start your own business, find employment and start a business, and travel freely to and from Hong Kong in the Mainland without restrictions. This visa is also relatively loose and free. You can apply for permanent residence status in Hong Kong after working in Hong Kong for seven years.

Suitable for people:

① College entrance examination students, or professionals who want to come to Hong Kong to upgrade their academic qualifications after working for several years and want to get a better development platform in the future;

For families with entrepreneurs and housewives, we generally recommend that their wives come to Hong Kong to study, and then their children can come to Hong Kong with their parents to enjoy the education in Hong Kong.

Study the path of immigration:

(1) enrolled in a famous university in Hong Kong, enrolled in 1 postgraduate course, and after obtaining a student visa, the whole family can go to Hong Kong together;

(2) After graduation, you can get an IANG visa, get a job in Hong Kong, and jump ship freely without industry restrictions;

(3) After the applicant has studied and worked for seven years, the whole family can obtain permanent residence status in Hong Kong.

2. Hong Kong professionals

Application conditions:

China citizens holding passports of the People's Republic of China and permanent resident status;

The applicant also has no known serious criminal record;

The applicant has a good educational background, which usually means holding a bachelor's degree in related fields, but under special circumstances, it is acceptable to have good technical qualifications, proven professional ability and/or documented relevant experience and achievements;

This position is indeed vacant;

Applicants must be truly employed, and the work they are engaged in must be related to academic qualifications or work experience, and it is not easy to find local people to take up;

Salary and benefits (including income, housing, medical care and other fringe benefits) should be roughly equivalent to those of local professionals at that time.

Suitable for people:

(1) has worked in a Hong Kong company, using tourist visas and business visas to travel to and from the Mainland and Hong Kong;

② The company working in China is the head office/branch office, and there is a branch office/head office in Hongkong;

(3) Being a shareholder or director of a Hong Kong company, requiring a Hong Kong work visa, and taking into account both Hong Kong and mainland businesses;

(4) Having started a business in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong company has actually operated, it needs a Hong Kong work visa to facilitate the management and operation of the company;

(5) If you want to obtain overseas status quickly, Hong Kong professionals will be approved within 3-6 months at the earliest.

The Hong Kong Professionals Scheme does not require applicants' professional strength and personal business achievements, but requires them to fully prove that they are in short supply in Hong Kong.

3. Hong Kong talents

Application conditions:

Before global quotas, there were 1 1,000 talents in Hong Kong every year. As mentioned in the 20021policy address, there are now 2,000 talents.

No criminal offence and bad entry record;

Having a university degree awarded by a university or higher education institution;

Economically self-sufficient and independent of aid;

The language can be Chinese or English.

Visa mode: "2+3+3" year. If you are a high-net-worth high-end talent, you can stay in Hong Kong for a period of "2+6" years.
