Are Azerbaijan and Turkey the same country?

Azerbaijan and Turkey are not the same country. Although there are some similarities between Turks and Azerbaijanis, there are also many differences. Therefore, Azerbaijanis and Turks are very different.

First of all, the language is different:

Turkish and Azerbaijani have a lot in common because they are different branches of the same language. But if the residents of the two countries meet and start talking, mutual understanding can only reach 80%. In the Middle Ages, Azerbaijan was part of Persia. This has a great influence on its language. The pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar of Turkish are also developing constantly, and many new changes have taken place.

Azerbaijanis and Turks can generally understand each other. However, they will smile at each other's strange pronunciation of some words.

Secondly, countries are formed in different ways:

Turkey, historically a part of the great Ottoman Empire, has existed for five centuries. During this period, many countries were conquered. Historically, Azerbaijan was a part of the Persian Empire. /kloc-at the beginning of the 0/9th century, it was controlled by the Russian Empire. People here began to be called Caucasians. In the 1920s, Azerbaijan became a member of the Soviet Union and made great progress.

Third, social and cultural differences:

Turkey and Azerbaijan also have different social cultures. Turks are committed to a "high sense of responsibility" for their careers and families. They love their jobs and strive for greater success in their careers. Of course, this is partly due to the "high demands" of Turkish wives on their husbands.

Generally speaking, this country has a strong family tradition. On the other hand, Azerbaijanis emphasize "individual freedom". An Azerbaijani husband, after dinner with his wife, can go out for a walk alone with his friends and turn off his cell phone at the same time.

Fourth, the appearance is different:

In the great Ottoman Empire in history, many tribes kept coming and merging with each other. Therefore, today's Turkey is a diversified country in terms of population composition. For example, in the street, you will meet Turks with blue eyes, blond hair and blue eyes. Most Azerbaijanis have black hair. Usually, the residents of Anatolia in eastern and southeastern Turkey are basically the same.
