(3)(4) These are four allegorical words: meaning, heart, image, and number, which are similar to the "meaning, word, image, and number" in Shao Yong's "Huangji Jingshi" of the Northern Song Dynasty. (11) These three characters are signed one: "Bingwu" year, the "Hongya Historic Site" inscription was written by a prisoner wearing a "shackle" (Yang Shen).

(12) These four characters are the second signature: "A" is regular and not out of shape, which means that I, Yang Shen, am the number one scholar in the A department. The two characters below are the character "wind" and the character "bird" is out of the frame. ? Why are there two time signatures? The "Yisi" year refers to the time when the "Golden Horse and Jade Rooster" was carved on the cliff; the "Bingwu" year refers to the time when the cliff was carved here. Both cliff carvings point to "Journey to the West".

? The myth and legend about the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster was first recorded in historical records in the "Book of Han" written by Ban Gu of the Han Dynasty. According to the "Biography of Wang Bao" in the "Book of Han": In the third year of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, some alchemists said that there was a god with a golden horse and a jade rooster in Yizhou, who could be worshiped. So Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty appointed Wang Bao, a famous scholar in Sichuan at that time, as an admonishing official, and went to seek advice from him. Due to the rebellion of the barbarians and the blocked roads, Wang Bao did not reach Yunnan but only went to the western Sichuan area. He wrote an "Ode to the Jade Rooster" to perform sacrifices from a distance.
