It takes less than 20 minutes to complete the process of taking photos, filling out forms, waiting for your number to be called, and checking fees. At present, all public security comprehensive service windows can apply for the certificate, and applicants can arrange the application time reasonably according to needs and time during peak hours.

Notes on applying for a passport

1. All corresponding supporting documents and copies must be in B5 or A4 size.

2. Since special passport photos need to be taken immediately, guests should pay attention to their clothing and appearance.

3. The photo affixed to the application form must be a straight-edge, full-length, color ID photo without a hat, on glossy photo paper, with a white background. The portrait should be clear, rich in layers, natural in expression, and a public official. No standard clothing is required, and children do not wear red scarves. Photos that do not meet the above requirements and are one-time snapshots, reproduced photos or photos printed by color printers will not be accepted.

4. To pay the fee at the toll office, the applicant must pay the fee on the day of acceptance. If the fee is not paid within the time limit, the date for collecting the certificate will be notified separately. Under normal circumstances, after successfully applying for an ordinary overseas passport, you will get it in about 15 working days, and you will get an expedited passport in 5 working days.
