Number of college entrance examination students in Fujian Province

As of June 7, 2023, there were 232,000 college entrance examination students in the province.

In 2024, the number of applicants for the college entrance examination in Fujian is expected to be 247,000, an increase of about 1.5 million compared with 2023. The number of college entrance examinations in Fujian in 2024 is compiled according to the data of previous years, because the number will be affected by many factors such as the registration time and the actual number of people taking the exam.

The college entrance examination in Fujian province adopts "3+ 1+2" mode, regardless of arts and sciences. "3" stands for Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages and is a compulsory course for all students. "1" means that candidates choose the courses in the two preferred subjects of physics and history. "2" means that candidates choose two of the four re-examination subjects of politics, geography, chemistry and biology.
