Lesotho Kingdom Tourist Visa Duration of Stay

Lesotho usually issues a single-entry tourist visa valid for three months based on the visa applicant's requirements. Upon entry, the Immigration Bureau issues a temporary visa with a stay period not exceeding 14 days or 30 days.

Basic requirements

· Passport and passport copy valid for at least 6 months;

· 2 passport photos (white background, recent photo);

· Two visa application forms (fill in with black ink pen and in English capital letters).

Work visa

·Certificate of no criminal record (notarized certificate);

·Invitation letter from the employer;

·Lesotho Ministry of Interior Approval;

·Employment contract.

Tourist visa

· Letter of invitation;

· Approval document from the Ministry of Home Affairs of Lesotho;

· Round-trip air ticket;

· Bank deposit certificate of more than RMB 50,000.

Student visa

· School admission notice/invitation letter;

· Approval document from the Ministry of Home Affairs of Lesotho;

· Proof of kinship (Relatives need to be in Lesotho);

· A copy of the identity document/work permit of the above-mentioned relative in Lesotho;

· A copy of the passport of the above-mentioned relative;

· Highest academic diploma;

· Interview.

Business visa

·Invitation letter;

·Copy of business license;

·Approval document from the Ministry of Home Affairs of Lesotho;

· Official letter from the Chinese unit;

· Round-trip air ticket.
