Brief introduction of Yudu county

Yudu County, located in the east of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, was founded in the sixth year of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (20 1 BC), and is known as the "mother of six counties" and "three provinces of Fujian, Guangdong and Hunan". It is adjacent to Ruijin City in the east, Huichang County and Anyuan County in the south, Ganxian County in the west, Xingguo County and Ningdu County in the north. The county government is located in Gongjiang Town. The county seat is 65 kilometers away from Ganzhou and 422 kilometers away from Nanchang, the provincial capital. Yudu County was the seat of Gannan Provincial Party Committee and Gannan Soviet Government during the Central Soviet Area. It is the starting point of the Central Red Army's Long March, the last base area of the Central Soviet Area, the birthplace of the three-year guerrilla war in the south, one of the all-red counties in the Central Soviet Area, and one of the places where the spirit of the Soviet Area was formed, and 16 generals of the Republic of China were born. 1 The overall plan for the development of the economic revitalization Ruixing experimental area was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The experimental area covers Ruijin, Xingguo and Du Yu with a total population of about 2.3 million. The idea is to build the Ruixing Experimental Zone into a "special economic zone in the old district" and an "experimental zone in the special zone". The established strategic positioning is: Gannan and other former central Soviet areas for poverty alleviation, national red culture inheritance and innovation leading area, urban and rural development innovation area in poverty-stricken areas, and ecological civilization construction demonstration area in southern hilly areas.
