Which provinces, cities and counties were flooded by Three Gorges immigrants?

The inundation of the Three Gorges Reservoir involves 277 townships in 20 districts, cities and counties in Hubei and Chongqing, 1680 villages and 630 1 group. Two cities, 1 1 county town and 16 market town need to be rebuilt in whole or in part. The backwater reservoir area once every five years is 1.045 km2, of which the flooded land area is 600km and the backwater reservoir area once every 220 years is 1.084 km2, of which the flooded land area is 632km2, accounting for1.1of the total reservoir area. Eight counties were completely or basically completely flooded: Guizhou Town, Zigui County, Hubei Province, Laiwen Town, Xingshan County, and Xinling Town, Badong County; Wuxia Town, Wushan County, Chongqing; Yong 'an Town, fengjie county; Shahe, Wanzhou District; Hanfeng Town, Kaixian County; Mingshan Town, Fengdu County. Most of the flooded counties are 1: Yunyang Town, Yunyang County, Chongqing. There are 4 partially flooded cities and counties: Wanzhou District, Fuling District, Zhongzhou Town of Zhongxian County and Chengguan Town of Changshou District.

The whole reservoir area plans to resettle 405,000 rural migrants, 322,000 people in the county and 83,000 people outside the county during the flood. It is planned to relocate 440,000 people (65,000 in Hubei Province and 375,000 in Chongqing) and 322,000 people in the county (40,000 in Hubei Province and 282,000 in Chongqing).

1In May, 1999, the State Council held a conference on the resettlement of the Three Gorges Project to encourage and guide more rural migrants to relocate and adjust and improve the resettlement plan for rural migrants. The number of rural migrants in the whole reservoir area increased from 83,000 originally planned to 6,543,800+0.25 million. There are 25,000 people in Hubei Province, all of whom are placed in non-reservoir counties in this province. There are 654.38 million people in Chongqing, including Wushan 1.7 million, Fengjie 1.7 million, Yunyang 36,000, Kaixian 1.65 million and Zhongxian 1.9 million. Non-reservoir counties in this city have 20,000 people, relatives and friends independently resettle 1 10,000 people, and 70,000 people are resettled outside the city: 9,000 people in Sichuan Province, 7,000 people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei and Guangdong Provinces, 5,500 people in Shanghai and Fujian Provinces, and 5,000 people in Anhui, Jiangxi and Hunan Provinces.

The towns planned to be relocated are: Zigui, Badong and Xingshan in Hubei Province; Chongqing has Wanzhou and Fuling, Wushan, Fengjie, Yunyang, Kaixian, Zhongxian, Fengdu and Changshou. 1 16 relocated market towns, including 27 established towns, 82 townships and 7 general towns. The planned housing population is 7 1.8 million, the planned infrastructure population is 820,000, and the planned relocation is 5,774.28 square hm.
