Brief introduction of Sichuan and Chongqing
Sichuan-Chongqing region is located in the southwest of China, which is a part of the Han Dynasty. Because of the relatively closed natural conditions, hills and basins are self-contained in language, diet, customs and art, but they are not the same.
It is understood that from the southwest development in the Han Dynasty to the Three Gorges immigrants, generations of immigrants flooded into Sichuan and Chongqing, bringing advanced technology and culture and laying the foundation for the development of Sichuan and Chongqing today.
Sichuan has always been a settlement of immigrants. Su Donglai, an associate researcher in the History Group of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, combed the historical data and thought that from Qin and Han Dynasties to modern times, there were six great immigrants in Sichuan history, namely, the Qin Dynasty destroyed the Six Kingdoms, the end of the Western Jin Dynasty, the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty, the Jingkang Rebellion in the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the third-line construction period in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties and the 1950s.
Among them, the first four immigrants mostly came from the north, and the immigrants mostly came from Huguang area in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. In the history of Sichuan, the ancestors of the famous Zhuo Wenjun family, Sima Xiangru and Su Shi all immigrated to Sichuan.
