List of skilled immigrants in Canada and general steps
Specific:
There are two main stages for applicants in short supply occupation category (category 1): CIU pre-trial evaluation stage and embassy approval stage.
Step 1: Submit the application.
1. When the applicant submits the preliminary application, the immigration officer will check whether the application form is correct and whether the application fee is correct, but the applicant only needs to submit the following materials:
* Application Form
* If there is an agent, please provide the agency agreement form.
* Application fee
* It is best to attach a copy of the applicant's ID card (optional).
You must submit a complete application to:
Canadian citizens and immigrants
Federal centralized receiving unit for skilled workers
PO Box 7500
Sydney, NSB 1P 0A9
Canada
2. If the application form is wrong, or the application fee is incorrect, or you should not apply for a case in this embassy, then your application will be returned, that is, the materials are usually returned. If you submit other documents in your application, your application will also be returned.
3. If you submit the correct application form and the correct application fee, you will receive a letter from the embassy within a certain period of time, that is, the file number and file number (referred to as FN), which proves that we have accepted your application. We will provide you with the file number, the next processing time and the second application in the letter. Now it seems that the Beijing Embassy/KLOC-will receive the file number in 0/5 days, and the Hong Kong Embassy will receive the file number in nearly half a year.
Please don't contact the embassy during the initial application. Even if your marital status changes, you have children, change jobs, or get a new degree and education, the information will be updated in the second step, but if the following changes occur, you can contact the immigration officer.
* Change of immigration agent;
* change of mailing address;
* You intend to cancel your application and ask for a refund of the application fee;
* You won the provincial nomination plan;
* You have received an application for employment in Canada.
In addition, do not provide any materials and updates.
Step 2: supplement the immigration certification materials.
1. When the immigration officer handles your case, they will contact you and ask you to provide the required documents:
:: Updated application form;
* More application fee if you are married or have children;
* All other supporting documents.
* The immigration officer will provide you with a complete list of documents, including photos, academic and professional certificates, language proficiency certificates and proof that you have not been criminally punished.
When the immigration officer receives all the documents, the immigration officer will evaluate your application based on the information and documents provided by you. Then you will receive evaluation results or other requirements, such as interview, physical examination or passport.
If the immigration officer thinks that the applicant meets the immigration conditions, he will further study the minimum immigration requirements, scoring items and settlement funds. If the above conditions are met, the embassy may conduct a background check and arrange an interview (if necessary). Eligible applicants will also ask for a physical examination. The order of physical examination and background investigation is uncertain. If there is no problem, issue an immigrant visa, otherwise it is a refusal letter.
Note: For applicants with low IELTS requirements or high English level, it is not a problem to get a pass in the exam. It is suggested to submit the application first, so as to avoid policy changes, as long as they can get a passing grade within six months after submitting the application. Of course, the sooner you get the score, the shorter the whole cycle will be.
Applicants who have high IELTS requirements or lack confidence in the IELTS test are advised to take the IELTS test in advance, and then submit it after confirming that the score has passed or it is not a problem to take the IELTS test again.
