Cambridge University has very high admission score requirements and accepts many types of examinations, as follows:

1.A-level Curriculum: A-level is divided into two stages: AS-level (equivalent to the third year of high school in China) and A2-level (one level higher than the third year of high school in China). AS-level and A2-level*** both form the A-level. The University of Cambridge requires students to submit all AS-level courses and A2-level courses they have studied to the school when applying. AS-level usually requires 4-5 courses (there is no difference between 4 or 5 courses), and at least 3 are required to be A or above; A-level usually requires 3-4 courses, and humanities and social science majors require A*AA Above, science majors require A*A*A or above.

2.IB courses: The total score is required to be 40-41 points or above, and at least 3 higher level courses are required, and at least two of them reach a full score of 7 points, and the other one reaches a score of 6 points Above, that is, it is required to reach 7-7-6 or above. Some majors may also require specific courses to reach 7 points.

3.AP courses [31]

It is required that at least 5 courses have a score of 5 points. In addition, students applying through AP courses are also required to submit additional SAT and SAT II score, SAT II requires no less than 700 points.

4. College Entrance Examination: Cambridge University accepts direct applications based on college entrance examination scores, but the requirements are very high - it is required to rank in the top 1%-2% of each province. You cannot apply if you only have HCE results.

Undergraduate applications need to choose their ideal college and must apply through UCAS. The application deadline is October 15th each year, and the UCAS application form must be submitted to UCAS by then. You cannot apply to both Oxford and Cambridge at the same time. After submitting the application form, you need to fill in an additional supplementary questionnaire. The bottom line for this questionnaire is generally October 22. The conditions for the Conditional Offer received depend on the corresponding major, the teacher’s estimated score, and other factors, ranging from A*A*A to A*AA.
