Dallas airport connecting flight

In general, 1 half an hour is enough.

On the plane to Dallas, fill out the "US Customs Declaration Form". Sometimes the declaration form is issued at the airport check-in counter, and sometimes it is issued during the flight. Fill it out in English.

Dallas Airport:

I. Entry formalities:

Get off the plane and follow everyone. Everyone has to go through immigration formalities. There is only one way to the Immigration Hall. There are two snake-shaped queues in the arrival hall, one is an American citizen and the other is a foreign tourist. You should be a foreign tourist. Meet with immigration officials and show their passports and customs declaration forms. Take a fingerprint and take a photo (the official takes your photo with a camera). The official may ask questions, sometimes even not. Stamp the passport with an "entry stamp". Get your passport and customs declaration back.

Second, through the customs:

Come out, as usual, baggage carousel, get your luggage.

Give all your luggage (including checked baggage and carry-on baggage) to the customs officer and submit your "US Customs Declaration Form". When officials ask you to put your luggage on the conveyor belt of the inspection machine, you can put it on it. No one will look for you after the machine. Pack up and leave. If someone asks for you, it's unpacking inspection. Generally, it is a machine inspection.

Three, baggage transfer:

When the customs comes out, it is AA's baggage transfer office. Give them the original checked baggage.

Fourth, find the boarding gate of the next flight.

Dallas Airport has five terminals. International arrivals are all in Terminal E. After you come out, you have to check again and enter the terminal of your flight.

In case the flight is delayed or the queue for entry formalities is too long, ask AA's check-in counter and they will arrange it for you.
