According to the Notice of the General Office of the Provincial People's Government on Printing and Distributing the Provisions on the Internal Structure and Staffing of the Main Duties of the Hubei Provincial Immigration Bureau (E.B.F. (2009) 155), there are 8 provincial immigration bureaus:

I. Office

Responsible for secretarial, information, publicity, archives, logistics, finance, security, infrastructure, confidentiality, supervision and other daily work; Drafting comprehensive manuscripts and organizing comprehensive meetings; To carry out research on immigration policies, draft local immigration laws and policies, and supervise and inspect the implementation; To undertake the related work of administrative litigation and administrative response; Responsible for the organization, personnel, retired cadres and labor wage management of the bureau organs and directly affiliated units; Formulate education and training plans, organize and guide systematic education and training; To undertake the daily work of the party Committee of the organ.

Third, the planning and finance department

Responsible for immigration compensation investment and compensation for investment price difference; Participate in the preparation of the province's annual resettlement plan, and comprehensively balance the province's resettlement support plan and annual plan; Responsible for reviewing the budget and final accounts, compiling the annual report, and reviewing and allocating special funds for immigrants; Responsible for immigration statistics; Organize financial inspection of special funds for immigrants.

Responsible for the management and supervision of the resettlement work of the Three Gorges Project; Responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of the follow-up resettlement work such as the Three Gorges Project; Assist in the management of geological disasters and the protection of cultural relics in the Three Gorges reservoir area; Organize and implement the management of high cut slope in the Three Gorges reservoir area, the stability and prosperity of immigrants, the industrial development of resettlement areas and the construction and protection of ecological environment in the Three Gorges reservoir area.

Draw up the relocation and resettlement plan of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, issue the annual plan, and do a good job in corresponding management and supervision; Responsible for the inspection and supervision of the implementation of immigration and professional projects.

Eight, immigration five places

Responsible for the resettlement support of large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects in the province; Responsible for the preparation of large and medium-sized reservoir resettlement support plan and the annual plan for supporting and funding projects in reservoir areas and resettlement areas, and organize the implementation, supervision and management.

The Party Committee of the organ is responsible for the Party-mass work of the Bureau and its directly affiliated units. The office of the Party Committee of the Bureau shall be established and co-located with the office of the Bureau.
