" As soon as this sentence comes out, it means that the northeast people are going to tear, and this sentence also represents the hot temper of the northeast people. As we all know, there are three provinces in Northeast China, namely Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning, so why should we call them Northeasters instead of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning? I answer this question from three aspects.

The first reason should start with the residents here. In the ancient history of our country, the Northeast was not under the control of China in most dynasties, and only Liaoning Province was close to the Central Plains, so Liaoning Province had close ties with all dynasties in history.

Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces have long been frozen by snow and ice. In ancient times, they can be said to be wild places, and people rarely arrived here. In the early Qing dynasty, in order to consolidate their rule, Manchu people were not allowed to go to the northeast where weeds were more lush.

After the Opium War broke out, because Russia and Japan took a fancy to the Northeast, the Qing government ordered people to go to the Northeast, and the wind of "going to the East" prevailed. People from the mainland have gone to the northeast to develop. Most of these immigrants come from Shandong, Hebei and even distant provinces such as Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Sichuan.

People from all provinces constitute the main body of Northeast people. They have lived here for only a hundred years and generations, and they can accurately tell which province and county their ancestral home is in.

If we ask one of them who lives in Heilongjiang but whose ancestral home is Shandong, where is he from? He said that Heilongjiang people are suspected of forgetting their ancestors; Suppose he is from Shandong, but he speaks with a strong northeast accent. So it is better to say that he is from the northeast, which is acceptable to both the questioner and the interviewee.

The second reason is the closed geographical environment here. The central part of Northeast China is the North-North Plain, surrounded by Daxing 'anling, Xiaoxing 'anling and Changbai Mountain, which reduces the contact between Northeast China and the outside world. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Northeast China was also controlled by the Central Plains, but its control was influenced by the strength of national strength.

In the late Tang Dynasty, ethnic minorities controlled the Northeast. Due to the separation of the Liao and Jin Dynasties here, the local ties between the Northeast and the Central Plains were reduced. After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, Manchu became the master of the Central Plains, and the Northeast came down in one continuous line with the mainland in form, but it was still closed. Coupled with Japan's control over the three northeastern provinces, the distance between the northeast and the motherland has been further widened.

At present, Northeast China has made remarkable achievements in the development of heavy industry, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. Northeast China's heavy industry ranks in the forefront of the country with strong industrial strength. However, the geographical environment and historical background of the northeast surrounded by mountains on three sides have reduced the communication between the northeast and the outside world. But the northeast plain is a whole and has never been divided.
