Which district is Xihua Road in Guangzhou?

Guangzhou Xihua Road, located in Liwan District, Guangzhou City, China, is an east-west road.

It starts from Renmin North Road in the east and ends at Guangsan Railway in the west, with a total length of 1600 meters and a width of 16 meters. At present, except for the west section of Liwan Road, which is one-way traffic from west to east, all other sections are two-way. There are many residential buildings along the road.

In ancient times, it was a road that landed in Guangzhou from Rainbow Bridge, which was called Wanshanli in the early Qing Dynasty. At that time, the eastern part was called immigrant city, which was named after the Qing government forced the coastal residents of Panyu, Xin 'an and Xiangshan to move here, and later renamed Liwan District. There is no street at the intersection of Xihua Road.

In modern times, Xihua Road was turned into a road, and the stone tablet was transferred to the permanent collection of Guangzhou Museum. If you go to zhenhai tower in Yuexiu Park now, you will notice the existence of the stone tablet as soon as you board that platform.

Although the business atmosphere of Xihua Road is general, some shopping malls are vacant, but the vegetable market next to it is quite prosperous, with many porridge and noodles stalls and a strong atmosphere of life. Xihua Road is a cost-effective area in the old city, with great differences in property prices and a developing trend.
