Reasons for the decline of Dawukou

The earliest large-scale population migration in China was caused by the "Eight Kings Rebellion" in the Jin Dynasty (29 1-306) (307-3 12), and about 900,000 people were forced to move and settle in the south. At the end of the Western Jin Dynasty, there was a rebellion of eight kings, and the strength of the rulers was greatly reduced. Northern minorities took the opportunity to go south and invaded Luoyang, the hinterland of the Central Plains. This is the famous five chaos in history. The gentry, rich families and large families in the Central Plains moved south in succession.

1949, Dawukou belongs to the four districts of Lishi County; 1September, 984, changed from Dawu commune to Dawu town. By the end of 20 18, the registered population of Dawu town was 34057. By June 2020, Dawu Town has 1 community and 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government will be stationed in the second village.
