What is an international student?

International students refer to students studying abroad.

The word "international student" was coined by the Japanese in China.

In the Tang Dynasty, in order to absorb the advanced culture of China, the Japanese government sent envoys to China many times. As a diplomatic envoy, an envoy to the Tang Dynasty can't stay in China for too long, so it is difficult to better absorb China's advanced culture. Therefore, the Japanese government has sent "overseas students" and "returned students" at the same time since it sent Tang envoys for the second time. The so-called "international students" are students who are still studying in China after sending envoys to China on the Tang Dynasty, while "international students" return home together when sending envoys to China.
