First of all, you are Chinese now, and China’s prospects are much better than South Korea’s. You should be proud.

Secondly, China has been a very tolerant country since ancient times, and both Mongolian and Manchu people have been assimilated. In China, no one discriminates against foreigners. My Korean roommate and I are close buddies.

In the end, it’s your decision whether to seek your roots or not. You can definitely keep Korean customs, but it will be a matter of time before you are assimilated.
