According to the entry and exit regulations, China mainland residents can go to Hong Kong and Macao as long as they apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Pass, and do not need to apply for a passport.

To apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Pass for the first time, you must go to the exit-entry administration department of the public security bureau where your account is located. This can't be entrusted to others.

Materials to be carried: original and photocopy of ID card, original and photocopy of household registration book, photos (photos can be taken at the moment of entry and exit), and invoices issued by regular travel companies.

Handling fee: production fee 100 yuan, endorsement 1 valid 20 yuan, and 2 valid 40 yuan is extra.

Processing time: 15 working days.

Hong Kong and Macao Pass is valid for 5 years. During this five-year period, as long as your pass has a valid endorsement, you can go to the endorsed destination.

Endorsement is divided into the following categories:

Valid every year 1 time (Hong Kong and Macau)

Valid twice a year (Hong Kong only)

Valid within three months 1 time (Hong Kong and Macao)

Valid twice within three months (Hong Kong only)
