Ancient village immigrants
The purpose of that trip was to go to Hongcun and enjoy the beautiful mountains and rivers in Hongcun. Visitors seem to be walking in a painting. It's just a pity that there are too many people. The famous "Moon Pool" is crowded with tourists, and everyone is taking pictures with long guns and short guns. But after only playing for half a day, I squeezed out the crowd and left Hongcun.
Walking slowly along the mountain road, it is drizzling, the mountain road twists and turns, and some places are loose The car tried to climb over the "obstacle" and unconsciously came to the "pit". Likeng Ancient Village belongs to Tuochuan Township, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, formerly known as Liyuan, 45 kilometers northeast of Wuyuan County.
At the entrance of the village, a fast-flowing river runs through the village. The drizzle and the rushing water are intertwined, and the distant mountains are shrouded in water mist. I feel like I have fallen into the water world.
This is an ancient village built in the late Northern Song Dynasty. The village is built by water, and the "white wall tile" lies in the deep mountains and bamboos. The white wall became a gray wall with the passage of time, and the black tiles were washed away by the rain for a long time and polished black and shiny. The whole village is backed by the green hills, and the clouds are lingering and the water is bright, just like a fairyland far away from the world.
Walking along the wet slate from the main street, at three o'clock in the afternoon, there were very few villagers, and some people squatted by the river to wash clothes in the rain. There are a few faded lanterns hanging sporadically in the old house on the street, and a few tourist souvenirs are placed under the quaint plaque in front of a family. There are too few tourists in the village. Who would drive here by mistake like me?
Walking in a drizzly alley, I was deeply attracted by the tall and elegant beauty of houses in southern Anhui. Horsehead walls are strewn at random with upturned cornices. The high walls are deep in the courtyard, and the shackles of small windows are very decorative. All these architectural forms, which are the most beautiful today, were actually important defense facilities in those days.
Horsehead wall used to be a firewall with anti-theft function. On the one hand, high walls and small windows can prevent thieves and bandits, on the other hand, they are "fortresses" built in the hearts of people suffering from war and migration.
During the Song Dynasty, wars continued, and more and more immigrants poured in. There are few people in mountainous areas. Huizhou people gradually go out to do business. After making money, send it home to buy land and build a house, pay attention to education, and train future generations to study and be an official.
For lighting and ventilation, and for rain, the deep patio of houses in southern Anhui flows into the patio from the eaves to take the beautiful meaning of "four waters return to the hall", which means the tradition of "rich water does not flow to outsiders" of Huizhou merchants.
It kept raining, and a little girl in front of the old house looked at me from a distance, holding a round mirror in her hand, shy and curious, and her pink skirt jumped in the deep drizzle. Does she want to go out of this mountain and see the outside world? Due to the inconvenient transportation, this village is almost isolated from the world. What do occasional visitors mean to children in the mountains?
Occasionally, I see a few old people and children in the village, and young people can't go back several times a year when they go out to work. It's raining, and the dark afternoon is lonely and depressing in the ancient village.
But if we go back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Likeng was extremely prosperous at that time. Since the late Ming Dynasty, a group of prestigious scholars and officials have appeared in the village. From officials to ministers, there was no prime minister in the Ming dynasty, and it was considered that one person was below and ten thousand people were above. Does the 120 official residence in the village today explain the past well?
"Sima Di" mansion is tall and majestic, and it is the residence of Sima Yu in Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty. "Shangshudi" mansion, the residence of Yu Maoxue, the Shangshu of the Ministry of Industry in Ming Dynasty. Only the "Tianguan Mansion" is the most peculiar in the mansion, and its uneven shape of the mansion door is simply uncharacteristic and maverick. The gate of the "Tianguan Mansion" faces north, and the forehead of the gatehouse has a light-cut regular script "Tianguan Shangqing". It was the residence of Yu Maoheng, a senior Ming official during the apocalypse.
When you look closer, the outer walls of the mansion are crooked and connected in a triangle, and the door is open on the side, which has no official residence at all. Why is this design? It turned out that Yu Maoheng, the owner of the house, was an honest official, but he was framed by traitors and demoted to civilians. It was not until Chongzhen ascended the throne that he was reinstated. When building this house, he deliberately made the outer wall uneven, symbolizing his bumpy life. ...
After people visit Hongcun, Xidi will admire the tradition of respecting teachers and valuing education in the village. But few people will ask, why do villagers attach so much importance to education in rural areas far from cities? Looking back, the ancestors of these villages were mostly immigrants who moved from the Central Plains to escape the war. They used to be a big family in the Central Plains, knowing books and understanding people. When they came here to take refuge, they did not forget the inheritance of poetry and books. Over time, they have formed a local folk custom that attaches importance to education and learning.
The beauty of travel depends on luck for seven points and courage for three points. I am lucky to meet this ancient village, which is almost isolated in the mountains. It is said that there are more tourists now, and the mountain road that made me suffer a lot has been successfully rebuilt. With the development of tourism in the village, the villagers became rich.
The development of tourism will inevitably lose the primitiveness and naturalness of ancient villages, and the quaint heritage handed down for thousands of years is becoming less and less, and tourists are no longer seeing the same. Then, how to develop tourism, how to keep the ancient nature from being destroyed, how to return history to history, and how to serve modern history are difficult problems in the development of tourism.
A trip by mistake has become the most impressive experience in my trip. "Likeng" made me unforgettable for a long time, because the mountains and rivers are natural and I saw the real life of the villagers living in the "White Wall Dahe". The beauty of the horse-head wall, lattice window, cornice and patio all bear the old scars of years, which are profound and dignified, even shocking.
As Zhang Ailing said, "Be famous early", in fact, tourism should also be "early".
