Beauty, Kung Fu and Conspiracy —— Comment on American TV series Nikita

Recently, she once fell into a drama shortage, and several American dramas that she had been chasing ended one after another in these two months, including Pretty Little Liars, Designated Survivor, and Going Deep into the Wasteland, so I turned out an early favorite American drama, NIKITA, and began to relive it.

Nikita is an earlier TV series. It has been with me for four years from the first season in 21 to the end of the fourth season in 214. At first glance, this story is a combination of beauty, kung fu and conspiracy, which is very much in line with the taste of the American people. Nikita is played by Maggie Q (Li Meiqi), a British and Vietnamese mixed-race beauty. She used to develop graphic models in Hong Kong, and also shot TV commercials. She was a minor celebrity before appearing in Nikita. Besides, she was the gossip ex-girlfriend of handsome Daniel Wu. It is said that the two became attached to each other because of a spy movie, but the relationship ended in breaking up. Finally, Daniel Wu married Lisa S, and Maggie Q also married Dylan McDermott.

In the first season, almost every episode was an independent short story, but the main story still ran through it. From the second season, it was completely the main story. However, since it is a TV series, the plot setting of the characters is somewhat exaggerated. It feels that Nikita, our heroine, is an immortal and small-strong character. No matter how fierce the gun battle and fighting are, she can escape from it unscathed (huo) and (hui), and there is also a man standing behind her to support her-Michael. This used to be her coach in a secret organization, and also the person in charge of chasing her. The relationship between them in appreciate each other is also a highlight of this play.
