Du 'an Yao Autonomous County, which belongs to Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located on the transition slope from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to Guangxi Basin, and in the eastern part of Duyang Mountain. The terrain is high in the north-west and low in the south-east. organizational evolution:
On December 5, 1949, the whole territory of Du 'an County was liberated. Du 'an County has six districts: East District, West District, South Central District, North Central District, Southwest District, Northwest District and Metrology, and governs 28 townships, 1 town and 322 villages. In September, 1955, the State Council passed the decision to abolish the organizational system of Du 'an County and establish Du 'an Yao Autonomous County. Du 'an County has jurisdiction over 14 districts and 167 townships (towns). In November 1957, Anyang Town was placed under the jurisdiction of Chengxiang District.
in September, 1958, after the people's commune was implemented in Du 'an County, the district and township organizational system was revoked and the commune, brigade and squad organizational system was implemented. Du 'an County governs 13 communes and 31 brigades.
On November 14th, 1958, Yongning District was renamed Nanning District, and Du 'an still belongs to it. On May 18, 1965, the State Council approved the establishment of Hechi District, which is located in Jin Chengjiang Town, Hechi County (now Jin Chengjiang Town, Jinchengjiang District), and governs 1 counties (Jin Chengjiang, Yishan, Huanjiang, Luocheng, Nandan, Tiane, Donglan, Bama, Fengshan and Du 'an), all of which are placed under Hechi District. In September 1971, Hechi Prefecture was renamed Hechi Prefecture, and the county under its jurisdiction remained unchanged. In 198, Anyang Commune was renamed Anyang Town.
