According to the regulations of the Mexican Embassy in China, foreigners who visit Mexico for non-labor purposes and stay for no more than 180 days (for example, for the purpose of visiting, business, studying abroad or engaging in non-labor technical and scientific research) do not need to apply for a visa:
1, holding a valid visa from any of the following countries, multiple entry, non-transit visa. The United States, Japan, Britain and Northern Ireland or any Schengen country.
2. Holders of permanent residence permits in the following countries. Canada, the United States, Japan, Britain and Northern Ireland or any Schengen country, Colombia, Chile or Peru.
3. Hold an APEC(ABTC) business travel card approved by Mexico.

Participate in a visa interview in Mexico and submit the following materials:
A) consulate visa application form.
If it is a child or minor or a person under judicial guardianship as stipulated in the civil law, the consular visa application form must be signed by both parents or the executive guardian, and the consular officer or Commissioner is present.
If one parent can't go to the consulate to apply for a visa for his minor child, he must show the other parent's power of attorney, stating that he agrees to apply for a Mexican visa.
If the parents or minor applicants of young children only exercise their rights according to the court judgment, they need to issue a notarial certificate of legal judgment.
If a child or minor applicant goes to the consulate alone or is accompanied by a third-party adult, he/she needs to show that his/her parents or the person exercising parental custody allow him/her to apply for a Mexican visa and agree to grant him/her a visa.
B) Provide Mexican immigration authorities with information needed for visa interview, such as personal identity information, purpose of visit and relevant information according to the type of visa application.
During the visa interview, the consulate will review the information and materials provided by the applicant. If it passes, the visa fee will be charged first, and the visa will be issued within 10 working days from the date of visa interview.
C) Provide the original or notarized copy according to the materials required for the visa application type (please click the corresponding formalities column for details).
