Wanshou Palace is located at No.3 West Street, Qingyan Ancient Town, near Ciyun Temple. It used to be eight shrines built by Qingyan immigrants. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, it became a guild hall in Jiangxi, and was later converted into a Taoist temple during the reign of Jiaqing. The total area of Wanshou Palace is 1000 square meters, including main hall, annex hall, west wing room, theater and living area. There is a colorful relief on the gate of the main hall. There are nine immortals in Taoism, one of whom is the Grand Priest and the other two are the Eight Immortals. Bright colors and vivid characters. There are brick carvings and other reliefs around. There are also wood carvings on the ground of the theater, which are exquisitely carved and elegant in art. Classic historical stories such as "The Banquet at the Hongmen" and "Flying in All directions" can be seen on the beams of the theater, which have strong military characteristics. The quaint Wanshou Palace has also become a shooting place for some films and television.
At Guiyang Jinyang Bus Terminal, you can take a bus to Huishui or Gaopo and get off at Qingyan. Or take bus No.220/223/to Zhu Jin Town, and then transfer to bus No.210 to Qingyan.
