Anhui began to use the national college entrance examination in 2024, regardless of arts and sciences, with a score of 750, and foreign language listening scores were included in the total score of the college entrance examination. The elective subjects are politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology.

According to the requirements of the institutions applying for the examination, combined with their special interests, candidates first choose physics, history and other courses 1, and then choose two courses, such as ideological and political, geography, chemistry and biology. The selection of exams will be implemented from 2024, and 1 time will be organized every year, and the examination time will closely follow the national unified college entrance examination. The foreign languages in the national unified examination subjects are divided into six languages: English, Russian, Japanese, French, German and Spanish. Candidates can choose one of them to take the exam. Candidates who apply for foreign language majors should take the oral English test. City and county admissions examination institutions are responsible for organizing the implementation of oral English examination. The oral English test is based on middle school foreign language textbooks, and the candidates are comprehensively evaluated through interviews or computer tests.

According to the relevant notice, this year will continue to implement the special plan of key universities for rural and poverty-stricken areas. The education administrative departments of cities and counties and relevant universities should strengthen policy propaganda, strictly apply for examinations, strengthen qualification examination, and promote the implementation of preferential policies for special plans. From 2023 onwards, candidates who gave up their admission qualifications or dropped out of school after being admitted to the special program in previous years will no longer enjoy the admission qualifications of the special program.
