Can Jiaxing people understand Sichuan dialect?

Jiaxing dialect is commonly known as "Jiaxing gossip" It is a dialect of Wu dialect, belonging to a small piece of Wu dialect, Taihu Lake, Su Hu Jia. You can communicate with other dialects in northern Wu dialect, such as Suzhou dialect, Changzhou dialect, Shanghai dialect, Huzhou dialect, Shaoxing dialect, Ningbo dialect and Wuxi dialect.

Sichuan dialect belongs to southwest mandarin, also known as Bashu dialect. Today's Sichuan dialect was formed in the great migration movement of "Huguang filling Sichuan" in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. It is formed by the gradual evolution and integration of Sichuan dialect popular in Sichuan before the Ming Dynasty and immigrant dialects in Huguang, Guangdong and Jiangxi.
