Can I go directly to Macao with the Hong Kong and Macao Pass?

Yes, as long as there is an endorsement of Macao on the Hong Kong and Macao Pass and it is still valid, you can transit through Macao or Hong Kong. If it expires, you must renew it before crossing the border.

Importance of Hong Kong and Macao Pass

Passports and Hong Kong and Macao passes have different functions. Passport is the identification document when entering or leaving China, and passport is the identification document when entering or leaving Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. The two can't be confused and can't replace each other.

Mainland residents travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions for personal reasons, visit relatives, engage in business, training, employment and other non-official activities, and apply to the municipal and county public security exit-entry administration departments where their household registration is located.

Hong Kong and Macao passes cannot reveal any information, and Hong Kong and Macao peer passes are as important as ID cards.
