Immigrant and non-immigrant visas

American immigrant visas and non-immigrant visas have similarities and differences. The main difference is that American immigrant visas are issued to applicants who intend to live permanently in the United States, while American non-immigrant visas are issued to people who have permanent residency in countries other than the United States.

Let's look at their similarities first:

First: American immigrant visas and non-immigrant visas need to be interviewed at the embassy. Otherwise you can't get a visa.

Third: both immigrant visas and non-immigrant visas need interview time to go to the embassy.
