Why are you interested in rocket launching?

Yesterday morning, the Long March 5 carrier rocket was launched from Wenchang Satellite Launch Base in Hainan, and China's Tianwen-1 Mars exploration program was launched.

This is a great event. Our space development in China is too fast. The Long March V carrier rocket is the rocket with the largest payload, the strongest thrust and the fastest flight speed in China so far. It can be said that this best thing is taken out to carry out this Mars exploration mission. Then why are humans interested in Mars?

There are roughly two reasons. The first is the environment of Mars. Mars is the most similar to the earth in the solar system. The deserts and Gobi we see on earth today are almost the same as Mars. Then there used to be a lot of water on Mars, which was especially suitable for the birth of life, so the only reliable place for human beings to move into outer space at present is Mars. Secondly, it is impossible for human beings to get out of the solar system at present, but we can build a gas station on Mars, just like the service area on the expressway, where we can rest and park.
