Winter is breezy and sunny, which is a beautiful season. Today, we are honored to welcome experts from the evaluation and acceptance group of key vocational schools in Hubei Province. Here, on behalf of the Badong County Party Committee, the county government and the county's 500,000 people, I would like to extend my warmest welcome and heartfelt thanks to the leaders and experts!

Badong is located in the west, between Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge at the junction of Sichuan and Hubei, and is known as "the throat of Sichuan and Hubei and the gateway to western Hubei". The county covers an area of 3,354 square kilometers, governs 12 townships, 497 villages and 12 neighborhood committees, with 485,500 people. It is an old revolutionary county, a minority county, a remote mountainous county and a key resettlement county in the Three Gorges reservoir area.

Since the Tenth Five-Year Plan, under the strong leadership of the State Party Committee and the State Government, Badong County has made great progress in economic and social undertakings, the comprehensive strength of the county has reached a new level, remarkable achievements have been made in reform and opening up, the urban and rural landscape has undergone earth-shaking changes, and people's living standards have been greatly improved. A century-long plan, education-oriented. While attaching great importance to economic construction, we always give priority to education. Our county has a weak economic foundation and a large population, so education has a long way to go. Over the years, we have conscientiously implemented the strategy of "rejuvenating the county through science and education", comprehensively implemented the Party's educational policy, given priority to the development of education, actively consolidated the achievements of "two basics", further adjusted the layout of education, optimized the allocation of educational resources, strengthened the construction of teachers, and significantly improved the quality of education, which aroused widespread concern in the whole society and was dubbed "Badong Education Phenomenon". The sustained, stable and healthy development of education in our county has been unanimously affirmed by the state, province and state.

Badong National Vocational High School is one of the four public high schools in our county, a window school for vocational education in our county, and an important base for human resources development, labor transfer training, practical technology training and promotion, and poverty alleviation and development. Remarkable achievements have won social recognition and opened a new chapter in the development of vocational education in Badong.

Building Badong Vocational High School into a provincial key vocational school has always been our goal, and it is also the expectation and hope of the people of the county. Not only can it lay a solid foundation for our county to achieve the goal of popularizing high school education, but it is also of great significance to implement the transfer training of rural labor force in the county and promote the healthy development of county economy. In order to achieve this goal, the Badong County Party Committee and the county government attached great importance to it, and all sectors of society gave strong support.
