Doushan Reservoir project management mainly includes four parts: dam project management, irrigation area management, power station management and surface aquaculture.

1. Dam project management. Doushan Reservoir was built in September 1958 and completed in July 1959. In April 1986, the Huaihe Commission issued a reply (85) Huai Zongzi No. 18 to carry out risk elimination and solidification of the Doushan Reservoir hub project. The total investment 31.76 million yuan, of which 28.06 million yuan was invested by the state. After the completion of the risk removal and reinforcement project, the Shandong Provincial Department of Water Resources organized an acceptance committee to conduct an acceptance appraisal of the project. The standard quality pass rate was over 95%. All unit projects, divisions, and sub-projects were qualified and met the design and construction specification requirements. , the entire project is sturdy and practical, neat and beautiful, and the spill gate can be opened and closed flexibly. In particular, the dam masonry slope protection project is at the leading level in the country. After the completion of the project, it has been tested by water storage, power generation and flood discharge, and it is operating normally. The project quality is excellent and it is a safe reservoir.

2. Hydropower station management. The Doushan Reservoir Hydropower Station is located under the southern end of the reservoir dam. It was completed and put into operation in October 1976. It is equipped with 4 generators, an installed capacity of 3,200 kilowatts, and an annual designed power generation of 5 million kilowatts. It is managed by the Doushan Reservoir Management Office. 3. Irrigation area management. The Doushan Reservoir Irrigation District was established in October 1959 and started irrigation in February 1962. The designed irrigation area is 304,000 acres and the effective irrigation area is 162,000 acres. It is a large-scale irrigation area and is the main production area for food crops, greenhouse vegetables and strawberries in Junan County. district. In 1996, the Doushan Reservoir Irrigation District was listed by the state as one of the supporting facilities and water-saving renovation projects for key large-scale reservoir irrigation districts. In 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2003, four phases of water-saving renovation projects were started, and the main projects were completed. The main canal has 23 kilometers of anti-seepage lining, with a total investment of 47.36 million yuan, of which 18 million yuan was invested by the state.

4. Fisheries management. Doushan Reservoir surface aquaculture is under collective management. Since 1994, Junan County Water Conservancy and Fisheries Bureau, Doushan Reservoir Management Office, two surrounding township party committees and governments, and 10 reservoir area villages have established "Doushan Reservoir" in the form of shares.
