No. There is no such place as Tangshan in Sichuan. There are two legends about the origin of the name of Tangshan. One is that Li Shimin passed by in the crusade, with the mountain named Tangshan and the city named Tangshan City. Before the Ming dynasty, the land was vast and sparsely populated, and a large number of immigrants came here in the Ming dynasty. Tangshan area began to develop. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Kaiping Coal Mine was established, and the number of people engaged in coal mining gradually increased, forming today's city. The original Tangshan was renamed Dacheng Mountain and never intersected with Sichuan.
