Legal basis: Article 62 of the Law on Public Security Administration Punishment stipulates requirements for those who illegally cross the country (border), and they shall be detained for more than 5 days 10 days and fined for more than 2,000 yuan in 500 yuan. Those who illegally cross the country (border) shall be detained for less than 5 days or fined for less than 500 yuan.
