I drive an excavator and want to work abroad. What if I need a passport and visa?

1. Get the application form

The places where the forms are collected are the police station where the household registration is located, the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Branch (County) and the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Public Security Bureau.

Fill in the application form

The application form must be filled in with black or blue-black pen, and the handwriting should be clear and neat, and it shall not be altered.

"ID number" should be filled in 18 digits after the household registration book is upgraded (it can still be filled in 15 digits without upgrading);

"Name" is in simplified Chinese characters, which is consistent with the household registration book and ID card?

"Pinyin name" is spelled in Mandarin;

"Date of birth" must be consistent with the household registration book and ID card;

Fill in the province or municipality directly under the central government as "birthplace";

"Marital status" should be filled in according to the actual situation;

"Political outlook" can fill in the names of * * * party member, * * members, democratic parties or the masses;

"Education" should be the highest education recognized by the national education authorities;

"Household address" should fill in the detailed address consistent with the applicant's household registration book;

Please fill in "current address and zip code" according to your current address;

"My identity" must be selected according to the facts; Fill in the full name of the work unit and indicate the position; If the file is inconsistent with the work unit, fill in the current unit, indicate the storage location of the file in the remarks column, and fill in the original unit for the retiree file;

"Unit address" must write down the specific address and house number of the unit;

"Going to a country or region" is filled in according to the first country after leaving the country or Taiwan Province Province of China, excluding transit countries;

How many times did you apply for leaving the country for personal reasons? Fill in the number of applications for exit from the public security organs, and those that have not been approved will also be counted together, and the remarks column will explain the situation that has not been approved; Select only one resignation reason;

Please select only one "Application Certificate Type" according to the actual application certificate type;

If you choose the original passport number for passport extension, renewal or replacement, please fill in this column;

"Main members of the family" should include spouse, children, parents, in-laws, in-laws and grandparents. If the family members are overseas, the overseas unit and address shall be filled in Chinese;

"My resume" should be filled in from the time I started to work, and the start and end dates should be accurate and relevant;

Please choose "evidence collection method" voluntarily;

"The following shall be filled in by the personnel department of the applicant's unit" shall be filled in by the person in charge of the unit, whose opinions shall be signed and sealed.

3. Who needs the unit to issue opinions and build official seals?

1) Party and government organs at all levels, people's congresses, CPPCC, people's courts, people's procuratorates, people's organizations and institutions are in-service leading cadres at or above the county (department) level, and retired cadres at or above the department (bureau) level;

2) Financial institutions, legal representatives of state-owned enterprises, leading members above branches (branches) of financial institutions and leading cadres at corresponding ranks, managers above middle level of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, and representatives of state-owned shares of state-owned holding enterprises;

3) Personnel involved in national security, state-owned assets security and business secrets in various departments and industries;

4) Other personnel registered by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ.

4. Conditions for applying for expediting

In case of emergency, after the following conditions are met and approved by the public security organ, the application can be expedited. Conditions for applying for expediting:

1) When going abroad for medical treatment or visiting critically ill patients, certificates issued by overseas hospitals must be submitted.

2) When going abroad to attend the funeral, the death certificate issued by the overseas hospital or police station shall be submitted.

3) When going abroad to participate in urgent business activities, an overseas invitation letter must be submitted.

4) When the time for studying abroad and starting school approaches, you must submit an admission notice to the school.

5) The entry permit or visa of the destination country will expire soon.

(6) Other circumstances that the public security organ considers urgent.

To apply for urgent business, foreign language materials must be translated into Chinese by a translation company designated by the Municipal Public Security Bureau.

Visa processing flow:

To apply for a foreign visa, whether China people apply for a foreign visa or foreigners apply for visas from other countries, no matter which way they apply, whether they entrust or directly handle it themselves, they generally need to go through the following procedures:

(1) Submit a valid passport.

(2) Submit various documents related to the application, such as my birth certificate, marital status certificate, education certificate, work experience certificate, etc.

(3) Fill in and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms. Most of them should be filled out in foreign languages and photos should be provided at the same time.

(4) Meeting with officials of the Embassy and Consulate of China in that country. Some countries stipulate that all immigrant applicants must be interviewed before making a decision; Some countries also require interviews to apply for non-immigrant visas.

(5) The embassy or consulate shall submit the completed visa application form and necessary supporting materials to the domestic competent authorities for examination and approval. The embassies and consulates of a few countries have the right to issue visas directly, but they still have to report to China for the record.

(6) After going to the competent department of the country for necessary examination and approval, notify the embassy or consulate in the country of the examination and approval opinions. If you agree, a visa will be issued. If you refuse, you will also inform the applicant. (For visa refusal, the embassy or consulate will not refund the visa fee. )

(7) Pay visa fees. Generally speaking, when submitting a visa application, you must pay the fee first. In some countries, the fee is charged only after the visa application is successful. Generally speaking, immigrant visa fees are slightly higher and non-immigrant visa fees are slightly lower. There are also some countries and regions that are visa-free.
