How to deal with "notarization" and "authentication" in children's visa application?

What is notarization+authentication?

Visa applications for minors are more stringent. If you are traveling with one of your parents, you must provide a consent form for not applying for a visa, including your own visa and the signature of the visa-free party. If both parents don't travel, a consent form signed by both parties is required. In addition, the travel consent form needs notarization and authentication.
If you are a minor/adult student, you need to provide a copy of your student ID card and proof that you are studying English.
What is accreditation+certification?

After completing the relevant notarization, it is necessary to certify the relevant institutions, which can be divided into two types:
(1) Single certification: "That is, the notarial certificate can be sent to the foreign office for certification." Only through the certification procedures of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Foreign Affairs Office of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities can it be recognized by the relevant competent authorities of the user country, thus having legal effect in that country;
② Double authentication: namely, the authentication of foreign affairs office and consulate. After completing the certification procedures of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the foreign affairs offices of relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, the accredited embassies (consulates) will be certified by notaries.

(1) The child's ID card and household registration book; If the applicant is abroad, a copy of the passport is required;
(2) the child's hospital birth certificate or the birth certificate issued by the personnel department of the unit or the street office where the household registration is located, which shall specify the applicant's name, gender, date of birth, place of birth (specific to the city or county) and parents' names (deceased parents);
③ Three recent one-inch photos of children (in color or black and white);
(4) The original resident ID cards and marriage certificates of both parents.

Information needed for notarization of kinship
(1) The applicant's resident identity card and household registration book and their copies. If the household registration has been cancelled, the certificate of household registration issued by the police station of the original place of residence shall be provided. If the applicant is of foreign nationality, a copy of the identity certificate of the country to which he belongs shall be submitted.
(2) If others handle it on their behalf, submit the power of attorney and the identity certificate of the agent.
(3) the kinship certificate issued by the personnel organization or labor department of the applicant's unit. If there is no personnel organization or labor department in the applicant's unit, a certificate shall be issued by the superior competent department of the unit.
(4) If the agent applies on his behalf, submit the power of attorney, resident ID card and its copy, and other agents submit the agency qualification certificate;
⑤ The applicant submits his/her ID card, passport, travel permit or other documents that can prove the identity of the related party;
⑥ Other certification materials that the notary thinks should be submitted.
Information required for handling entrusted notarization
① Original ID card;
(2) Declaration in duplicate (printed);
③ Relevant basis of the contents involved in the statement;
(4) Other certification materials that the notary believes should be provided.
Special attention: in the case of parents' divorce, both parents need to provide the original certificate of entrustment.
Special reminder about notarization:
(1) If the notarial certificate needs to be certified, you must ensure that the notarial certificate is stamped and go to the Foreign Affairs Office for certification together with the certification letter issued by the notary office!
