Where does Dangping Village belong?

Dangping Village is located in the southwest of Sandouping Town and belongs to the resettlement village of Three Gorges Dam. The whole village has a territorial area of 6.99 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 1 159 mu, and there are 6 villagers' groups under its jurisdiction 1800 people. In 2007, the total economic income was10.76 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 4026 yuan. Citrus and tea are the leading industries in this village. The existing citrus area is 958 mu, with an annual output of 2,000 tons of citrus and 374 mu of tea, with an annual output of 18 tons of tea. The village has developed a citrus marketing team of more than 100 people, established the Dangping Branch of the Citrus Production and Marketing Association, and opened two citrus waxing factories in Gaojia Village and Market Town. 90% oranges in the town are waxed through these two waxing plants. The village also jointly manages 374 mu of Xianheguan Tea Farm, with an annual output value of 1 10,000 yuan. The national land reclamation project will reclaim 1200 mu of land in this village.

There are three Gorges Dam, Yangjiawan's former residence, Shipai Anti-Japanese War Site, Shipai Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, Three Gorges Family and other tourist attractions near Shuaiping Village, and there are special products such as Zhouxiabifeng, Yichang Road Goat, Yichang White Goat, Wuduhe Kiwi and Qingjiangping Tea.
