The origin of Douhe River

Douhe reservoir is an irregular triangle. The dam is near the southwest corner, the northwest corner is the storage entrance of Quanshui River, and the northeast corner is the storage entrance of Guanhe River. The main water source of Douhe River comes from the upstream Guanhe River and the west branch of spring water. Qingshui River has two tributaries, one of which originates from Shangshui Road Village, Wang Guan Ying Town, Fengrun District, Tangshan City, flows through Xiashui Road and Wang Guanying, joins with the other tributary, originates from Yaodai River in Mazhuanghu Village, Huoshiying Town, Fengrun District, and enters douhe reservoir via Banqiao. According to the standard of river length, Quanshui River should originate from Mazhuanghu Village, Huoshiying Town. However, due to the lack of continuous water supply, most rivers have dried up and degenerated into seasonal rivers. Although the amount of horseshoe spring water on the waterway is small, it is basically constant, and it is the main water source of Quanshui River all year round. Therefore, horseshoe spring is recognized as the source of spring water. Quanshui River has a total length of 45 kilometers and a catchment area of 244 square kilometers.

The Luanhe River Diversion Project is to introduce the water source of Daheiting Reservoir in Luanhe River into Qiuzhuang Reservoir, a cross-basin return river, and then from Qiuzhuang Reservoir, cross the watershed between the return river and Douhe River, enter Quanshui River, and then enter douhe reservoir from Quanshui River. Luanhe River Diversion Project can deliver 500-800 million cubic meters of water to Tangshan City and the middle and lower reaches of Douhe River, which has become one of the main water sources in douhe reservoir. There are many opinions about the origin of the Dongzhiguan River, among which it originated in Tanyu Village, Dongshe, Qian 'an City. However, with the passage of time, the river has basically disappeared. Similarly, because there is no constant water supply, seasonal rivers can only be formed in the rainy season, so it is recognized that the birthplace of Guanhe is Beidaquan near Fushansi Village, Wangdianzi Town, Luanxian County. The mountain behind Fushansi Village is called Guanshan, and some people in the lower reaches of Guanhe River are called "Guanghe". After passing through Wangdianzi Town, Longtuo Township, Beixiaozhai Village and Mawantuo Village, Guanhe River joins Longwan River, another important tributary near Song Jiayu Village, and flows into douhe reservoir.

There are not many names of local Longwan River, and most of them are called Liuchenghe or Lu Niu River. Originated in the watershed area between Qianxi and Luanxian, with numerous peaks and surrounded by mountains and rivers, the water sources of Dalongtan and Xiaolongtan were very rich in that year. Niu Long flows through Bali Wang Guanying, Guzhen Town and Tashang Village in fengcun Township and joins Guanhe River near Song Jiayu. Among the eight famous scenic spots in Luanzhou, "Tianqu Shadow Queen" and "Weishan Spring Waterfall" are both located in the upper reaches of this river, and the Xiangshui Bridge (load-bearing bridge), an ancient bridge of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) located in Zhenzhen, is also located on this river. Guanhe River is 30.4 kilometers long with a drainage area of 286 square kilometers.
