The Biography of Taiji was written by Chen (1600— 1680), the ninth descendant of Chenjiagou in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. On the basis of ancestral boxing, he collected the principles of Taiji Yin and Yang in the Book of Changes, the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the breathing exercises guided by Taoism. In 2006, Chen Taijichuan was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list; In 2007, Wenxian County was officially named as "the birthplace of China Wushu in Tai Ji Chuan", "the birthplace of China Tai Ji Chuan" and "the research base of China Tai Ji Chuan culture".
