Progress of the Ma Yue case

In October 2010, Xicheng District issued a report concluding that the accident was not a production safety accident.

In February 2011, the deceased’s mother, Meng Chaohong, filed an administrative review with the Beijing Municipal Government.

In March 2013, the administrative reconsideration result maintained the original opinion of the investigation report. The mother of the deceased sued the Xicheng District Government.

On August 19, 2013, the Ma Yue case opened, involving the subway company and the police.
