In Zhu Yuanzhang's later years, a strange thing happened in the imperial examination selection, that is, most of the candidates selected in that year were southern students, and many northern students also withdrew. They started the Ming Dynasty and paid no attention to our northern students. This also reached the ears of Zhu Yuanzhang, who also felt very strange. He also heard the rumor that the examiner Liu Sanwu was a southerner, so for selfish reasons, he deliberately refused to admit northern students.

It was ordered to recheck the test paper. It is clear at a glance whether it is Liu Sanwu, the southern examiner. After repeated inspection twice, the final result is that the literary skills of southern students are indeed better than those of the north, and the examiner has no problem at all. Zhu Yuanzhang found Liu Sanwu, an old comrade, and said that you could fool around and get some northern students to come up, but Liu Sanwu didn't do it. This is to select talents for the country, not selfish.
