Research team and platform of subtropical crop research institute in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Guangxi Hot Works has scientific research teams such as cassava, sugarcane, mango, macadamia nut, sisal, longan and litchi, papaya, pineapple and walnut, processing and testing of agricultural products, crop tissue culture and pest control, introduction and cultivation of Chinese herbal medicines, introduction and cultivation of tobacco, and innovation team of Guangxi mango industry, a national modern agricultural industrial technology system.

Guangxi Hot Works Institute has established Guangxi Cassava Research Institute, Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Sugarcane Research Institute, Sub-tropical Fruit and Vegetable Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of Ministry of Agriculture, Mango Research Center, Macadamia Research Center, Economic Crops Research Center, Popular Science Education Center, Information Center, Sub-tropical Flowers and Garden Plants Research Center, Agricultural Products Processing Research Center, etc. 10. At present, it also has the laboratory of cassava large-scale cultivation technology of the National Non-grain Biomass Energy Engineering Technology Research Center, the laboratory of cassava seed breeding technology of the National Non-grain Biomass Energy Engineering Technology Research Center, the laboratory of cassava industrial technology system cultivation and plant protection, Wuzhou comprehensive experimental station and Nanning sisal comprehensive experimental station of the national hemp industrial technology system; Cassava International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Demonstration and Promotion Base for Introducing Foreign Intellectual Achievements by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, "Introduction and Utilization of Foreign Cassava Germplasm" and "Industrial Development of Macadamia Nuts"; Guangxi Subtropical Crop Science and Technology Research Center of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, Guangxi Yiyuan Sugar R&D Center, Guangxi Cassava Breeding Center, Guangxi Mango Breeding Center and other high-starting scientific research facilities and platforms.

Guangxi is rich in hot crop germplasm resources. The whole research institute covers an area of more than 500 hectares. After 60 years' development, it now has more than 10 regional crop variety resource parks, such as subtropical plant popular science park, miniature garden, palm garden, famous and rare fruit demonstration park, cassava, mango, macadamia nut, sisal, papaya, longan, litchi, carambola, turmeric, pineapple and sugarcane, and has established more than 100 hectares of scientific research experiments. Introduce, collect and preserve more than 2,000 varieties of crop resources, including more than 30 excellent cassava strains and 580 germplasm resources; 67 portions of macadamia nuts, 350 portions of mango, 7/kloc-0 portion of litchi and 56 portions of longan. IRRI has developed into one of the most important conservation bases of tropical and subtropical crop germplasm resources in China.
