Jiangsu Silk Group Co., Ltd., formerly known as Jiangsu Silk Corporation, was established in June 1984 and is a state-owned unit directly under the provincial people's government. Implement an integrated management system of agriculture, industry and commerce for the province's cocoon and silk, and at the same time exercise the industry management functions of the province's cocoon and silk. 1997 was restructured into a wholly state-owned limited liability company, which is the main body of state-owned assets investment authorized by the Jiangsu provincial government. It is one of the largest cocoon and silk import and export enterprises in China and one of the large foreign trade enterprise groups in Jiangsu Province.
