In order to meet the needs of the two industries for electroplating technology, we set up an electroplating center with an investment of/kloc-0.5 million yuan, covering an area of 200 mu, with buildings (structures) such as workshops and sedimentation tanks of more than 20,000 square meters, which is responsible for centralized production, centralized management and centralized treatment of all electroplating enterprises. The center implements enterprise management and operation, and is equipped with advanced wastewater treatment system and perfect testing equipment. The electroplating capacity is 300,000 tons/year, and the electroplating wastewater treatment capacity reaches 1.500 tons/day. Electroplating types include gold, silver, copper, zinc, nickel, chromium, tin and alloys, and the treatment of electroplating wastewater reaches the national first-class discharge standard. The center has standardized management, complete supporting facilities and stable operation, which has been affirmed by competent departments at all levels. Its successful experience has been popularized by China Surface Engineering Society, and the center has also become the executive director unit of Qingdao Electroplating Association.
