Dongshan Island is the seventh largest island in China, located between Xiamen and Shantou. Located at the southern tip of the Golden Triangle Economic Zone in the south of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, it is adjacent to the Taiwan Province Strait in the east and separated from Zhaoan Bay and Zhaoan by water in the west. The southeast is the intersection of the famous Minnan fishing ground and the eastern Guangdong fishing ground. There used to be an eight-foot seawall on the border of Yunxiao County.
